Nature and the outdoors have always played a big role in my life. From a young age I have been involved in the Boy Scouts of America, and I am an Eagle Scout. I have also spent the last six summers working for a Scout camp located in the northern region of Minnesota. I spend most of my free time staying active, from rock climbing to snowboarding. I have a great feeling of pride living in Minnesota, from the southern prairies and farmlands to the thick forests and lakes of the north. Also the “Minnesota nice” mindset shared by everyone I meet.
All of these things have really helped to contribute to my love and respect for nature. This is reflected in my photos, from wildlife to still life. I try to capture both normal and rare events that can be overlooked in our day to day activities.

My main goal with my artwork has always been to share my experiences in nature with others through my photographs.
