It is cold.
The roads are glazed like a Krispy Kreme donut.
White dunes of fine crystals sweep across the landscape like ocean swells.
A place where 2 wheel drive paralyzes.
Art is Everywhere.
Look at the design.
Carlos Weather Report, a poem
by Kathleen Erickson 7/26/08
Today I heard thunder but the sky was clear.
Then I saw a flash of light,
Chrome pipes.
No storm here, just unity
among bikes.
Parade in Carlos, Minnesota
Don't miss the parade in Carlos, MN Saturday, July 12 at 2 PM
I missed it last year so I can't tell you what you're going to miss. Don't make that mistake.
Be informed and witness it for yourself. Come out to Carlos, MN Saturday, eat some food at the Cafe, drink some beer at Herby's, mail that love letter to that special person at the Carlos Post Office, and stay for the parade at 2 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2008.
I will be there!
The Aftermath...

The Parade Poem
by Kathleen Erickson 7/12/08
It was a Beautiful day in the City of Carlos
Where children darted in front of cars and heavy equipment
Like the squirrels of spring
And candy wrappers blew like dry leaves in autumn
Fun was had by all
