My work is the culmination of years, life's lessons, and experiences. I have exhibited my work in galleries and charity auctions in California, Colorado, and Minnesota.
While living in California, Colorado, and Minnesota, I explored the many characteristics that made each place unique and special.
I still enjoy visiting those favorite places.
California's wealth of museums, galleries, and diverse styles refresh me.
Colorado's dramatic landscape, historical architecture, wildlife, and grit call to me.
Minnesota's lakes, beaches, farmlands, and open spaces inspire me.
I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, but I particularly enjoy the challenge of watercolors. I want each piece to reflect the sunlight, rich landscape, and the shine of a reflective surface. I want the brush strokes and play of pigments to lead the eye over the subject, creating a mood.
When I paint or draw, I want you to see the human touch in my work, and also feel what my images express.
