Kathleen & Ruby Hill, the source for inspiration.

Company history

Ruby Hill was a bay American Quarter Horse I purchased while living in Colorado.  The significance of this was that I had always dreamed of having a horse, but I had to set that goal aside for many years.  I took my first riding lesson when I was 24.  I moved to Colorado a few years later where I resumed my riding lessons.  I was introduced to Ruby on a cold January evening.

The renovation of this building has been quite an undertaking.  It has been an evolution guided by the original Ruby Hill.  Colors and textures have been selected carefully so that the finished gallery space will incorporate creativity and an effective use of materials to display the artwork. Ruby was more than just a horse; similarly, the gallery is more than just a building.   The two passions take a tremendous amount of work, dedication and motivation.  They also offer adventure, discovery, growth and inspiration.

The interior is complete and designed to use natural and track lighting to illuminate the artwork.

I hope that when you look at Ruby’s image you can imagine how she looked when she bucked in the corral.  A real “Fire Ball”.  When you see the gallery colors, maybe you can imagine the colors of the earth and sky along the trail.  Imagine the browns of the native elk and mule deer.  A range of greens to gold mimic the changing aspen leaves.
Welcome.
